| Mission Lantern Kit, African Mahogany, Trop Birds panels, and Pattern book |
| This new lantern is different in many ways, the wood is exotic from Africa called African Mahogany and is very rich in natural color with 3 coats of clear finish. The base is 3/4" thick with square corners in mission style and is 1"hg and has 3/8" felt pads on each corner. This solid mahogany base is 6" X 6" and has 2 center cut holes for 2 uses, the 1" diameter center hole is drilled straight thorough the wood base for the use of a electric light socket cord with a 15 watt tubular bulb and a inline switch in the white 6 foot lg cord which is included in each kit, and the 2" diameter surface center hole outside of the 1" dia hole is drilled to a depth of 3/16" for use of the glass votive candle holder if user wants candle instead of electric bulb. So this is a Missions style electric or candle lantern kit with a pattern book that has a electric cord & bulb included. Also my optional # CLP 4X6 set of 4 fired glass panels of Tropical Birds that fit this new base perfectly. With 100's of kiln fired images are available. The Glass Votive Holder & Candle (# GVHC113) is still available for is base.
Now you can safely light this work of art of stained glass or kiln fired panels and not have to worry about fire from a open flame. |
