The Memorial Orb is created by encasing a small amount of ash (cremains) of a loved one between layers of molten glass, followed by a layer of color. The Orb is created right in our glassblowing shop, and ashes are handled meticulously throughout the process. You are encouraged to witness the creation of the Memorial Orb. You get to choose the colors and color pattern for the Orb, as well as how much ash you want to see through the color. The annealing (cooling) of the Memorial Orb takes 2-3 days. A brief inscription can be written on the bottom of the Orb if desired.
